Responsible play

Some activities on MyPlayPortal carry a stake. This page is about keeping that in proportion.

The plain facts

Games, contests, duels and raffles on MyPlayPortal can take a stake, and a stake on an outcome that does not win is not returned. That is stated before you enter every time, and it does not change.

Nothing here is a way to make money reliably. Most of what the platform offers — tasks, surveys, campaigns, creator work, referrals — pays for effort rather than for luck, and those are the parts to lean on if you are here to earn.

Keeping it in proportion

  • Decide what you are willing to stake before you start, not while you are behind.
  • Treat a stake as spent the moment you place it.
  • Never stake money you need for something else — rent, food, school fees, a debt.
  • Do not borrow to play. If a staff loan is what is funding your stakes, stop.
  • Take breaks. A long session is where judgement goes.

Signs it has stopped being fun

Any of these is worth taking seriously:

  • You are playing to win back what you lost.
  • You are hiding how much you play, or how much you have staked.
  • You are staking more than you planned, more often than you planned.
  • You feel anxious, irritable or low when you are not playing.
  • Playing is affecting your work, your sleep or your relationships.

What we can do

Write to support@myplayportal.online and we can:

  • Cool off — disable the staking activities on your account for a set period, leaving tasks, campaigns and withdrawals working normally.
  • Self-exclude — block the staking activities indefinitely. We will not reverse this on a same-day request.
  • Close the account — after your balance has been withdrawn.

You do not have to explain yourself, and asking will never affect anything else about your account.

Age

You must be 18 or over to hold an account. Do not let anyone under 18 use yours. Accounts found to belong to a minor are closed, and stakes placed on them are void.

Getting outside help

If gambling is affecting your life, speaking to someone outside the platform helps more than anything we can switch off. Talk to your doctor, a counsellor, or a trusted person in your life, and look for a problem-gambling support service in your area. It is a common problem and a treatable one.

Something here unclear?
Write to support@myplayportal.online and we will explain it in plain terms. If any part of this document conflicts with what the platform actually does, tell us — the document is meant to describe the product, not excuse it.
